PATA - POLITICS
Late in 1998 a Union of Norwegian AW users was established and a board of directors were to be elected. Rocambole was hired to decorate the Festival Plaza in La Défense where the candidates were going to make their electorial speeches. Rocambole soon lost his interest in politics when he was denied the right to vote because he was unwilling to give information about his real life identity - which he claimed was totally irrelevant as long as this was a virtual election. Terte, however, was one of the candidates, and it turned out that she was a very popular one, gaining more votes than anybody else.
Next year Rocambole was granted the right to vote and was actually one of the candidates to the board of directors but wasn't elected. Nevertheless he probably was the only candidate who kept all his promises, among which starting a bulletin board for Scandinavian AW users was the most important.
